Let me tell you more....

I've lived here since 2012 in my dream house on the edge of a village with no traffic lights, surrounded by trees. I so love this place. My house is on the edge of an area of woodland known locally as Frith Hill. It separates Deepcut from nearby settlements and at its heart you cannot hear the traffic and all you can see are the boles of stately trees, mostly pines, and an occasional glimpse of a deer.

Every day my garden creates further delights: blossom, flowers and foliage in wondrous colours, fantastical mushrooms and toadstools, kaleidoscopes of leaves in all shapes, sizes and colours. I started taking photographs of these natural phenomena and they are so beautiful I want to share them with others.

My house was built in 1896 by famous architects Treadwell and Martin. The people who have lived here over the last 120 years have been civilised and cultured enough to preserve almost all of its high Edwardian features. I love the way the light is filtered through its poured-glass window panes. I include some photos here of some of its original fixtures and fittings.

My heart will be broken when I go away from this place.
